They only hurt when you run them under water.
It says in the bible, “But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” – 2 Corinthians 3:16
Like your sins, they’re only revealed to you when you have Jesus, the living water, in your life.
We become acutely aware of our nature, when we turn to God. Like how we’d be acutely aware that we have papercuts, when we run them under water.
I stared at my papercuts today. And i’m only too aware of my imperfections.
But Christ’s love compels me to come back to Him again and again. Even if what He has to work in me sting like papercuts. So i fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
There’s hope, still :)
