:: ma vie pour femme by hugo boss ::

Slowly, eventually, i’d like to do a review of all my favourite perfumes. I LOVE scents. And i should prolly do a write-up on why i do, what it evokes and how i feel when i wear them. But before i get around to it, let me share about THIS one. It’s on my Christmas wishlist. Thankyouverymuch.

Hugo Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme

Sniffing this, i imagine myself traversing the quaint old streets of KL. Stopping at every textured wall to stare at, catching sun rays under trees and indulging in deliciously refreshing coconut ice cream.

Excerpt from the description writeup:

“Hugo Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme was inspired by the independent spirit of a woman as she pauses to indulge in the simple moments in life; a walk home at dawn, the sun on her skin, the touch of a flower. It is in these moments, when truly treasuring life, that the Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme woman is her most captivating, exuding a glow of femininity and confidence.”

Top notes: of cactus flower and its green freshness.

Heart notes: of pink freesia, jasmine and delicate rose buds.

Base notes: of warm woods and cedar.

I generally never thought much of Hugo Boss’ scents, prolly preferring the men fragrances more. But this one was quite appealing. Loved the simplicity of the bottle (almost Dior Addict in form and color)…but the scent was light and refreshing! Suitable for all day use from office to events and i’m usually a sucker for clean ‘just-showered’ fragrance. So this one was right up my street. And it may be quite bimbotic to mention, but i find Gwyneth Paltrow quite attractive. Almost always, i’m attracted to a fragrance by the ‘face’ of the product. And this is one of those.

Have yet to add this in my collection…so BIG HINT ya’ll.

P/S: Another one of my favourites is Sheer by Stella McCartney. However, i have not seen it in the market for the LONGEST time. Anybody knows if it’s been discontinued or being sold elsewhere under another name, etc?
